How it all began !

 
From the beginning, producing accurate type for printing on a letterpress (see image below) 

From the very first introduction of the Gutenberg press, Ink on paper has been the most effective way to disseminate the word.  Speed has always been the motivator to improve the machinery with printing and these days we can produce "Type" and "Print" much faster producing 400+ page book on a Litho press in one day.

Project Challenges

Migration Museum, public events, working with the Curator to design, retouching and printing of 19 booklets from 8 to 76pp using Publisher and paint for retouching and digital printing finishing using a booklet maker.  Amazing information on emigration to Australia, Rhodesia, Canada, Singapore, China, USA and New Zealand over the past 100 years. Challenging work on each title, plus printed over 100 captions. Enjoyed working on this project.

Adding value

Working with my Client, we were able to overcome any technical challenges, with producing each titled document. This involved much retouching and finally producing pages to size and position in Publisher. Retouching was performed in paint and was very time consuming but amazingly it worked a treat!  All booklets were supplied high resolution pdfs to the printer. They were printed on a professional digital Zerox then finished on a booklet maker.  This type of printing is ideal for 5 copies of each booklet.

Chinese New Year, public events, 
including digital online marketing to producing creative printing; leaflets, banners including stage banners or advertising banners, posters and brochures. It was clear from the concept that the nature of this project and complexity involvement of stakeholders and third parties, would take a toll on the schedules and timings within production, with all obstacles PEEKprint delivered on time and budget on all print productions.

Being involved in the initial planning, we were able to overcome any technical challenges, the scale of this event is enormous, communication with a number of important third parties including agencies and the expected visitors to Chinatown adds to the pressure for delivering a successful event therefore printing on time and of high quality is essential which has been achieved by PEEKprint during the past years.

working to produce different products for line managers, including bespoke designed labels of different types, in large quantities, posters A3 to A0, bespoke bellybands and sleeves to enhance their products, leaflets, cards, special greeting cards using gold foil blocking.

Living very local to the bakery i am able to pop in at a short notice to take briefings and to show proofs, usually the branding colour to enable we get it just right!. This has been a very useful way of working with this client.
